CCV broke installing CSL crankcase vent hose

I was about 90% through my csl airbox conversion last night (last step being to wire in the covid-19 map kit), and managed to break the ccv hose bung off when trying to connect the other end to the airbox… almost seems like the turner csl crankcase vent hose was ever so slightly too short and I had to give it a little pull.

Is this as simple as undoing the 5 bolts holding down the ccv and swapping in a new one?

You got it; One of the easier car to replace the CCV.

Undo the bolts, pop it out and put in a new one.

Make sure you check the gaskets and order a spare large o-ring gasket in case the current one isn't in a healthy shape.

Yes. Make sure you get an oring for the larger hole.

If you're finding that with the air box installed, the crankcase hose still seems too short and you may want to recheck the fitment of your air box and make sure that it is pushed as far as it will get go against on the ITBs.

I've had that issue with previous air boxes and it was because the air box wasn't pushed all the way in with the couplers

Yes this. Make sure none of the boots are pinched or catching on the throttle bodies.

Perfect that’s what I was hoping. Thanks for the heads up on the o-ring!

Nextelbuddy: yeah after looking at it this morning, it seems I’ve got about an eighth inch more I can go on the back 3 throttle bodies. I think I was just too careful pushing it on as there isn’t a good place to apply pressure on the box.

Spray some soapy water on the air box side of the couplers and on the couplers inside themselves. That way it's not such a dry fit and you can get a little bit more push out of it.
