CSL Trunk lid strut options - sharing info I've gathered

    So the 30 Should work better for the OE CSL trunk since the OE Ones are 70lb....

      Not sure, BMW used the same for non-CSL and CSL. If I remember correctly, bootlid weight for the CSL is close to non-CSL. I'd probably go with the convertible part if it fits; otherwise, I'm sure Stabilus makes struts with lower gas pressure, maybe in the 200N range.

      The problem is when you install a much lighter CF bootlid. In that case, I'd run two used stock struts or find a suitable Stabilus strut.

        i'll just stick to stock. No need to bother with an OE CSL trunk then LOL
