E46 M3 Fuel Starvation kit - what’s proper fuel pump clocked position?

Does anyone happen to have this kit laying around or have easy access to their car and be able to check what resistance resistor that Bimmer world adds to the driver side fuel pump assembly is? my car has an older kit, and I’m trying to get the fuel level working correctly, and I see that the world has added a resistor in the description of the listing.

Also curious about this. I just bought the car not knowing it had this fuel kit, and it ran out of fuel while the gauge showed a quarter tank. I took it out and reorientated it, and it reads better, but it takes 10-15miles before the gauge actually moves after filling up. I reclocked it again the same way in the other pictures, so we shall see if that fixes it, or if I need to get a new wire

I've seen mixed results. My buddy can run his car down to less than 1/8 of a tank. I could maybe get to a 1/4 tank before spending $700 replicating the $300 Bimmerworld fuel starvation kit. Yes, you read that right. It took awhile but I can now laugh about it.

Now I can get it about 3/16. It could be better but I have no need to run the tank lower. I need the weight for my time trial class.

Seems like it depends on a lot of factors; which track you are driving, how fast you are, what tires, etc. For me with 200TW tires, my car would die while going up the hill at turn 9 of The Ridge at or below 1/4 tank.

And 3/16s with a long, fast almost 270 sweeping turn which has to be the worst turn for fuel starvation except for maybe T16-18 at COTA. All the fuel gets pushed to the driver's side so you are really leaning on the left side pump to push fuel back to the right side.
