That's good to know! I've been wanting a pair for the M3 for a while, since they fit me so much better than the Nogaros (and no Recaro seat has harness holes high enough for me). If they go into the M3, the airbag would come out, so they should be a little lighter.

Buuut, like you and others have said, the prices are just nuts. Hard to justify paying almost more than what the car is worth for a pair of seats. One day I'll figure out how to talk myself into it...

Have you sat in 996 alien bucket seats? You could get OE Recaros for $6-8k, or the Corbeau copies for like $3k.

The GT2 folding bucket seats don’t fit me well, so I’m selling them in a couple of weeks, once the replacement seats arrive. They look neat, but I’d rather have $20k in my pocket lol (and the replacements look cooler IMO).

The corbeau copies are where I'm looking. Heard the ordering and customs process can be a pain, and it's hard to know what tariffs apply anymore. On the plus side, they will let you customize them direct.
