Porsche 996 Calipers - Help Identify?

I was looking to source some 996 calipers to begin doing the bbk retrofit, I ran across these for sale online. Seller was going to run them on his E36 but purchased a StopTech kit so he's selling these.

However, I can't seem to confirm they are the specific part number we need to do the retrofit. Correct me if I'm wrong but Fronts 996.351.425 + .426 Rears 996.352.421 + .422 is what I should be looking for. These calipers seem to have been previously painted black over what seems to be a red base coat. The part numbers are hard to read and they don't seem to match up. My initial feeling is these may have come from maybe a TT or something requiring a larger caliper? In any case, can anyone identify these calipers from the pics and video he was able to send? I don't just want to dismiss because it's a decent deal locally. Any help identifying would be appreciated, thanks.

Caliper part numbers are in this thread - https://nam3forum.com/forums/forum/m...ersion-install. Those calipers might be from a base boxster/cayman or non-S.

      You have Ebay protection:

Thanks, it’s no longer listed on eBay but that would’ve been nice for some protection. I believe it’s on FB marketplace. The part numbers seem to jive based on that eBay description so I might just pull the trigger. Thanks for the info guys.

They look correct to me, but part # is only way to be sure.

The most common mistake ppl make is to buy a 986 caliper (cheaper, ppl think it's a great deal), and that caliper has a very noticeable difference from the 996 caliper. On the front, it has a big divot that the 996 doesn't. And I don't see it in your pics.

They look like 997 calipers to me. Grabbed my 996 calipers out of the garage to compare. They are definitely different.

If all of them are stamped 996.xxx.xxx then would that confirm they are actually from a 996? I haven’t seen the in person but it seems like the 996 stamping is legible but the last three digits are harder to make out.

No, 997 calipers have a 996 part number because they came on the 996 turbo/GT3 as well.
Those are Front: 996.351.429/30 Rear: 996.352.425/6

Slightly different casting to the 996 calipers we use, no idea if they'd fit or not.

Hmmmm i guess the question is if these are in fact 996 Turbo calipers would they even fit? The brackets that Rally Road sell seem to specify calipers from 996 (non Turbo) so I’m guessing no…any know definitely?

No they wouldn't fit if they're 997 calipers
