So far zero issues after ~100 miles of driving. I guess we call it good for now and see how it goes at our race next weekend.

Alright, still not fixed as it acted up *a lot* at our rally. I’ll throw in a spare throttle actuator and go back to my original DME and see what happens. I’m wondering if the throttle actuator is heat soaking and glitching, idk.

Back to working on the rally car before our next outing. Our weird idle/limp mode issues were still there even after a NEW throttle actuator was installed.

        As a recap, I’ve replaced:
        -IAC
        -TB actuator
        -TP Sensors
-Tried a spare DME w/ same Hassan (HTE) tune

Fast forward to today and I just tossed on a spare set of ITB’s for shits’n’giggles. The ITB’s that were on the car, I had disassembled and cleaned/bead blasted so I decided to toss in a set that I haven’t messed with. And as I’ve said before, never had this issues prior to the CSL/MAP setup so I don’t suspect the ITB’s but I figured it was worth a shot. Went through the basic setup and full throttle adjustment’s and we shall see what happens.

          Hello,

Have you got anywhere with this? I have an E36 with S54 and CSL air box. I have been running velocity stacks for 2 years but the car runs hot so made some changes to the hood and ventilation that required me to go with the intake instead. I am currently intermittently stalling at stop lights but if fires right up no problem. Everything on mine is brand new except the IAC. I actually purchased a new one from the dealer and the car would not idle at all and I installed 2 different used IAC's and it would idle fine - that was all before the air box and the stalling at a light. Do you get anywhere with yours?

mine hops back and forth from 900 to 950 , installer told me its normal , it was very hot out that day.. and had been idling for a while. does not do it all the time. but try a new temp sensor and see what happens
