Headers + Eisenmann sport exhaust sound

Hi folks, I've been searching on the forums for quite some time and been messaging old members on here but have yet to see a video of this exhaust setup (headers + eisenmann sport exhaust). I currently have headers, stock sec 1, SS resonated x pipe and SS race exhaust. The rasp around 2.5-3.5k and drone on highway has caused me to put the OEM muffler back on. I don't mind it but during the winter/fall months I'd rather have a quieter setup and more DD friendly. If anyone has this setup and could provide some videos and/or feedback on how they like it or dislike that would be great!

I have found one video but it's about 13 years old and audio quality is crap

This car has euro headers, ss decat (basically like US section 1), ss unresonated single xpipe and eisenmann race, not exactly the setup you mentioned but perhaps it is useful to you.

Thanks bmwfnatic appreciate the reply but I've seen a few videos of headers + "race" level exhausts either SS or eisenmann but none for the sport level mufflers + headers. I find that headers + race is too loud for my taste and headers + OEM exhaust a bit quite, I'm hoping sport is just a bit louder than OEM muffler. I've heard some folks say the eisenmann sport/ supersprint sport is basically just like OEM and that make me debate whether or not to even purchase it or just run stock.

The SS Street is just like OEM the SS Sport is a bit louder and probably the balance you’re looking for. It’s pretty quiet when driving normally around town but gives you some decent sound when you open it up.

The SS Sport will drone a little bit in the highway but nothing too bad.

I have the SS Sport in my car with a RE RaspX pipe but no headers.

Here is a video I took of my car a while back with the Eissanmann Sport. The whole setup is in the description but seems to be relatively similar to yours.

I ended up getting rid of it due to the drone and went to the Dinan. Eventually got rid of the Dinan as well since it droned with SSv1s and went to an SS Street.

Thanks Sid! That video helps, curious what you went to instead of the eisenmann sport?

Went to the Dinan and loved it when I had CPI headers. When I switched to the SSV1s, the Dinan started to drone so I went to the SS Street.

I have AA headers, a dual resonated OEM section 1 (got it fabricated/welded in), Meistershaft section 2 (no res), and Eisenmann muffler. Car sounds great, no rasp.

Sid thanks! Any videos of your current setup with the supersprint street exhaust that's another one I've been depending. Do you have a CSL airbox as well, wondering if you can hear it over the exhaust.

Advorsor thanks! Are you running an eisenmann sport or race muffler? With my SS race muffler I always get this crazy rasp around 2.5-3.5k and it's even worse when the car is cold. Once temps are up and I can take the rpms above 5K it sounds absolutely nuts but with the fall coming I don't think I'll be driving in the upper rpms ranges much.

Sport but I doubt there is too much of a difference between Sport/Race as it relates to a muffler..

I don't have any video of my current setup but I can hear my CSL box over the exhaust clearly.
