China can't copy this.

If someone is born here. And then educated here. But, opens a factory and designs and engineers parts to be made, produced in China, then exported for a lower price, is it still considered poor quality just because it's made in China?
Not trying to provoke, just gotta ask.
Because one of the goals of an engineer is to produce the best product ensuring it meets correct standards and also most cost effective.
Also wanted to bring attention of some things I have designed specifically for m5board. Shipped to members at cost, but I highly over engineered the part for the sake of never looking at it again.
Same name there. I haven't been there since I've sold my m5.Last edited by simonnim; 10-17-2023, 09:34 PM.

OP, keep in mind some of the people complaining about China have no problem supporting the Russian economy(directly or indirectly).
I don't have any skin in the game here and I think there are plenty of good reasons to buy the highest quality parts you can. By folks own admission, the Supersprint stuff isn't perfect either though...
Just my 2c. YMMV.

Slon already explained their pricing due to international raw material sourcing but I guess that wasn't good enough so the exchange rate argument had to be brought up again in a separate thread.2003.5 MT JB/B - CSL SCHRICK SUPERSPRINT EISENMANN JRZ SWIFT MILLWAY APR ENDLESS BBS/SSR DREXLER KMP SACHS RECARO AR SLON MKRS GSP DMG KARBONIUS CP AUTOSOLUTIONS KOYO
