E46M3 intermittently turns off

    You need to double check your VANOS bulletproofing. You're getting an error during vanos adaptations. Clearing codes and resetting VANOS adaptations and see if the code returns.

    Looks like you also need to replace one of the pre-cat o2 sensors.

    EWS code is interesting but if you can start the car it's not related to your issue.

    Who did the tuning for the csl airbox?

      +1 to the question of who tuned the DME.

      The EWS code is caused by following the EWS delete instructions here: https://github.com/saildot4k/MSS54-XDFs/wiki/EWS-Delete

      That is the way to do it, but the instructions are missing a sentence saying to also disable DTC 130 (0x82). I keep meaning to update the instructions, but keep forgetting to do so...

      To solve, you can either get your tuner to disable that DTC, get your tuner to reenable EWS and sync the DME to the car or just ignore the code.
