    Carbon headlight blanks are done. As always, lots of learning…and some lessons being learned again. Now back to sanding!

      Lol...Yes I did. That Seibon hood was about 40lbs until I sliced it up.
      40??? Isn't the stock hood like 27lbs?

        Mah man, this is pretty sick. I give you props.

        I at one point was loosely affiliated with a buddy who was making hoods for Mustang racecars out of fiberglass. I have some idea of how difficult a piece this large is to pull off. It ain't for the faint of heart. Good on you.

          Yeah lots of those ‘’CF’’ hood are actually as heavy or heavier than stock aluminum hood and doesn’t fit as good… I had a Vorsteiner GTR single side CF hood on my first race car (basically a fiberglass hood with CF overlay…) and it was heavy and poor fitment vs OEM…
