Options for Refreshing the Stock 6-Speed Manual Shift Knob
How long do you think leather lasts being used for shifting before showing signs of wear?
I replaced mine in ~2015 with a new stock OEM broomstick and expect it to last the lifetime of the car. Replacing touch surfaces is money well spent on used cars IMO. I'm fine with it wearing slightly if I'm the one who causes it but so far nine years later it still looks brand new.
