just to give everyone an update. 70c tstat is great. def keeps temps a lot lower when cruising around the streets. at the track it didnt make a difference of course since the car gets to temp and hot. But it did cool down the motor a lot since it will keep kicking through the radiator up to 70C versus the OEM.

But Im not sure if its the only thing since I also updated the radiator and fan clutch

You can even buy these thermostats from Porsche as they compatible with the Carrera GT.

Did you try these? I don't think they fit. They are bigger in diameter and do not fit the housing.

                        Hey Anri,

Don't know if this was covered but with the 70 degree tstat where does the temp needle sit on the gauge cluster?

Did you get the Motorad? I ordered the Motorad 880060 as Gates 33576 and its huge. Comparison in picture. Left is S54, right is Gates 33576.

Thanks for sharing your experience, its for sure win win.

I have mentioned times and times that the t stat will NOT change the peak
the temp at the race track. But but but it will prolong/delays the heat soak ones
you begin the session which allows you to buy more laps.

Fan clutch with early engagement+bugs free AC condenser is must.
