What fuse(s) or sensor(s) to pull to ensure DSC stays off?

My last track day my DSC would not turn off despite the DSC light being illuminated on the dashboard. I pushed the DSC button multiple times and it would not turn off (throttle cuts at corner exits). I have a track day coming up and I would like to identify the best method to force DSC off while keeping ABS. Should this be fuse 61? Should this be the brake reservoir sensor? Just looking for the recommended solution before I find time to actually fix the issue (which I suspect are the pressure sensors).

Disconnecting the steering angle works (under the steering wheel)

Thanks. I was under the impression that the disconnecting that sensor means I have to recalibrate steering angle upon reconnecting?

Correct. Easily done with something like the schwaben scan tool.

Might be easier to unplug the yaw sensor. But there's a button that serves this same purpose. Just press...seems much easier.

The button should be turning everything but ABS off.

You sure it's DSC that's intervening and not fuel starvation? Does it happen on both left and right hand corners?

Disconnecting the brake fluid level sensor should also get you DSC all off.

DSC is very intrusive on the track. This is what I did and it disabled the DSC. Prior to disconnecting it I would experience the rear brakes intervening to try and control the car in turns (both left and right). Once disconnected the rear brakes would no longer activate in the corners. This modification does not affect the ABS, which you still want active on the track.

You will have two lights illuminated on the cluster once the steering angle sensor is disconnected.

Nice. So if we go to the dyno and we have an mk60 based system in the past I've pressed the DSC button to get the illumination of DSC in the cluster but still had issues on the dyno so I had to pull the ABS fuse in the fuse box which was annoying

So you're saying if we pull the brake fluid sensor plug then we should be able to dyno no problem and then just plug it back in.

                      I would think so.

I think there are better approaches for a tracked car.

                          What are they and why?

Its always been easy for me to just hop out at the track, unplug the sensor and then at the end of the day plug it back in. But always open to a better idea.

Yep, steering angle sensor for tracked cars. I had this when I was having weird issues with CAN and the MK60 and this was suggested by a couple of race shops.

The problem with that is you lose steering angle sensor data, I don't use it often but sometimes I like to compare to other laps when I am trying different lines/speeds.

And if you have a street car it sets lots of faults along with a CEL (IIRC)

*And a full interior car you have to take the lower kick panel on and off to access it.
