replacement Floor mats E46M3 reccomendations

My '02 that I bought on the Old M3 Forum in '04 has stock factory floor mats.
I never replaced them and they seem to have velcro on the back holding them to the carpet. Mine suck as the carpet and velcro was compromised from beginning when I bought the car and they do not adhere to the floor at all.
Do any of you like a specific after market solution? I like the rubber matts in my F150 and prefer them over the carpet ones as they are easier to clean, seem to grip the underlying carpet better, and catch debris. My stock mats slide all over and do not hold in place which is a driving hazard. they don't often, but can inhibit pedal usage.
Just curious if any of you like other solutions, or if I should just buy new stock matts.

New stock mats from fcp. I wouldn't waste too much money on something I'm going to step on... Even if the quality is "lower" they come with new Velcro stuff.

The stock non-M floor mats don't have the velcro and instead use plastic fasteners to hold them in place. No sliding around with those.

I like the BMW rubber floor mats. They have hooks instead of Velcro.

I’m also running the OEM rubber mats, as I prefer them to fabric (in all of my cars actually). +1 for those!

I’ve been running the rubber in SoFL for years, but now they’re starting to shrink and deform. You may have the same issue in NoVA, as hot as it gets out there. I’m moving to CocoMats this year. They cost more but look and wear better. I have them in other cars. Also more color options for personalized looks.

The cocomats are crazy heavy. They feel like the lead chest cover you wear at the dentist when getting xrayed.

Have them in the M5. I couldn't stand for the weight in the M3.

They are super nice, and last forever.

They are heavy AF... I forgot that some people care about that for this chassis.

That said, I don't recall the rubbers being exactly light.

The OE fabric ones were very light, and so was their longevity.

So tradeoffs.

EDIT... quick chuckle here... I may have the heaviest car here... convertible + DynaMat doors and floors F+R + 19" wheels + full factory exhaust + subwoofer and amps over the rear axle... CocoMats loading... clearly I'm not chasing weight reduction.

Late to the party but I have a set of decent purple-stripe mats that I will be selling soon.

If you can find the purples, they are the only way to go. True black color and much better quality than the new stuff bmw offers, imo.

OEM factory mats in the daily, Cocomats in the weekend fun car

You can remove the original Velcro from the underside of the floor mats and apply your own stick on Velcro. That’s what I ended up doing and it’s been holding up well.
