    Gauging interest: CF slicktop headliner

I want to have your opinion on this subject.

Yesterday I bring a spare sunroof headliner with fabric removed to JC. I asked him if he can block the sunroof opening on it so I can redo fabric after to install with a CF roof. He told me he can do this but would also be willing to do a mold for a complete headliner in composite.

So i want to know if you guys would be interest in a plug that you would buy and install yourself to your sunroof headliner. This option would be in fiberglass and not super expensive.

Or would you be willing to pay $$$$ for a CF exposed satin carbon fiber headliner or natural fiber headliner? Might also do the matching A-B-C pillars

I myself find this option a lot more appealing than trying to source a slicktop headliner for my sunroof delete panel.

Hmm, for me personally, half the point of the slicktop conversion is to get more head room. Seems like this wouldn't address this.

Full slicktop headliner replica would be more interesting IMO.

same here - I'm mainly considering a carbon roof conversion because I make contact with my headliner with a helmet on. slicktop headliner rep would be interesting if it's not cost prohibitive.

If we do a mold for a complete CF headliner, it’s going to be out of a OEM Slicktop headliner for sure. But I need to find a donor headliner first…

But I was also wondering if some guys would be interested in a cheaper/DIY-ish option. With a race seat, I usually sit way lower in the car vs OEM seat so sunroof headliner clearence never really bother me with an helmet even at 6’2’’
