So what's up with TTFS being "bad" now? Products, customer service? I have never done business but I was aunder the impression Frank was one of the best tuners for these vehicles out there and they were a solid place to buy things from.

I'm in the minority but going on almost 10 years with my tune and no issues. I always had a great experience. I know of close friends that have not had the same experience and close friends that will only take their cars to him... Honestly, maybe worse. When I went for a retune, TTFS pretty much told me they gave up on the e46 community. Issues with my tune a few weeks after the retune proved this.Originally posted by Cubieman View Post

FWIW when I had an issue getting my monitors to set last year in order to pass smog, Frank emailed me a new tune within 24hrs that resolved the issue. The car runs better and pulls harder now too. YMMVOriginally posted by Cubieman View PostComment

That was my problem. He didn't set my o2 so I had an SES and he also added a burble tune which i asked not too but since I trailered the car down, I didnt notice until later that night. First email took 3 weeks to hear back and thats because I messaged him on FB. then I had questions about uploading my current tune since I've never done it before and they responded like a month later. Just make sure you REALLY specify to them if you have US or CSL profile cams. I had a CSL sw flash/tune done by them recently and they had CSL offsets in there even though I made it clear I had stock cams.Originally posted by T-Rex View Post
I told them I was getting a Vanos error and wondered if it could be due to the wrong offsets values. They said that was highly unlikely because the standard tune they run on top of a CSL flashed DME always has US cam offsets unless specifically specified otherwise.
Long story short the offsets were wrong and I corrected them. They did however send me a partial BIN back the next day with correct offsets after I emailed them the partial BIN.

I had Hassan remote into my car to check out my baselines tonight (currently running a Kassel tune)
It’s basically a stock CSL tune with advanced timing.. not what I had discussed with them for a canned tune.

I may contact Hassan as well. Did your tune include throttle mapping such that when you get to 4.5k it feels like the sport button was pressed? I told them, DON'T mess with the throttle mapping! I've got the sport button and a pedal commander if I wanna screw with that. guys I waste my time with kassel...the guy doesn't know to tune.....i have 10 files from kassel and the last one is the leanest that he can do he told me and if didn't change something then the car have problem....the car it was run 9.8 afr with the leanest file...i have all the logs if someone doesn't believe
I went with hassan and he fix my (problematic)
Car and running now 12.8-13.1 afr....
