Finally was able to solve this. It was an incorrectly installed monoball RTAB. After some miles this clunk was happening under almost any condition - acceleration/braking, turning, bumps.
During the original install I used the standard RTAB tool most are familiar with. It must have applied force to the bearing causing deformation.
I learned that Syncro Design has a loaner tool that is specifically made for these monoball RTABs. For anyone installing them I would say renting this tool is required.
