I may be interested as my windshield has some chips.

What is the ballpark weight savings?

I priced out a windshield for the Jeep Wrangler from this article.

        Here's what I got:

Based on the information provided, we have determined the proper windshield for your vehicle:
        HTJ-DW02668
        $699.95 + Free Shipping
        2 Year Industry Leading Warranty

This may give folks a ballpark price.

I have a small crack in the bottom of mine and have been meaning to replace it so I’d be in for sure assuming it’s a reasonable price.

If its a 7lbs weight savings for $700, I am in for 2.

                    I imagine it’d have to.

For those needing a replacement soon, don’t count on this. I’m in the same boat, but this product would have to be developed from scratch and we don’t even know how long that’d take — and that’s after the company is convinced to do it, which hasn’t happened yet.

I have had this small crack for like 5 years, it grows by about 1/2” a year so I am in no rush. I was finally going to replace this year but then COVID happened so I’m gunna wait anyway. If I know this windshield is coming in a year I’ll wait.
