Fair price for 03 LSB/Cin 6 speed 1 ownwer 180k

Hello, I would like to know what a fair offer would be for an 03 LSB/cin 6speed. It is a one owner with 180k. It has some dents and scratches on the bumpers it was a city car. The car has not had the big 3 done. Also everything is pretty much original with the exception of the fuel pump. The interior needs the common items all the pillars, headliner sag, driver seat has some tears. Everything else works as it should. What would be a fair offer for this car. Thank you

The only thing throwing off the price is the color, it usually commands a premium although I don't know why. With that in mind, I'd say ~20-23K considering it's going to need some TLC.

All depends on visual inspection and careful review of maintenance history. Based on what you're describing, its not worth very much. I personally wouldn't pay more than 15k

Yeah I agree. You're looking at easily 20 grand to completely refresh the drivetrain, suspension and front end of the body.

Everything going to be a DIY? Rod bearings, VANOS, and RACP updates/fixes can get real steep real quick. At that mileage all your suspension rubber, joints, shocks, etc. are completely shot and you haven't indicated any other type of regular maintenance beyond the absolute basics. Need tires?

Your target buyer is a huge DIYer with deep pockets who is looking for a cheap LSB project. There are people like that out there but don't expect them to offer you top dollar. After all the love and labor put in plus the cost of parts, it will cost them just as much as a clean example with half the mileage which ultimately holds resale value much better.

It's a 2003.5, with MK60 (I'm pretty sure). I'd probably spend like 15k on it. If you do the work yourself, you'll probably be able to spend close to 10k for a good refresh. Maybe not EAG level refresh, but I think 25k on a LSB with cinnamon for a self driver is a good deal.

LSB just isn't worth going after for the average buyer these days. Sellers will say "but this one sold on BaT for 200% the same car with a different color" and expect some exorbitant price. It's just a color. It's not worth the premium unless you have so much money it doesn't matter. Bet the seller thinks 15k is low balling him. Go buy a silver one that's been lovingly maintained and be much happier.

15k seems reasonable and 20k seems a bit too much So a number in between those should be good. The big 3 will run you around 6-8K or more depending what you do or who you take it to. That's not counting interior or suspension work.
