No, the Pyro fuse is in the other part attached to the red cable. Look inside that smaller sq hole there should be 2 small pins.
(What you're talking is the rectangular yellow thing which house the electronic circuit that discharges the current to explode the fuse.)

And so if it does show the correct 2 ohms, perhaps the yellow rectangular "trigger" could be not be making proper contact?

2. They are simple 2 male pins and 2 sockets, so visual check and you could use a small pick to close the gap on the female socket smaller for better contact. There are other long wire running from the Restrain computer to BST and a damaged wire can cause the error code too, not necessarily the yellow sq.

Well, without testing, I think I've found the issue, the question now is, can you purchase just these cables new from anywhere?

This was most likely my fault when I had to remove the battery recently due to water getting into the battery tray from failed tail light gaskets and trim.

I wonder if the pin also bent.
Can you straighten the bent socket with the aid of 10x magnifier? It looks simple enough.

I did check the pins, and they appear to be perfect.

I also think this cable was damaged by someone else previously, as there was a zip/cable tie around this cable and the black plastic terminal housing.

I removed the small rubber isolator to better access the bent socket; it's pretty mangled and difficult to bend back... I think a new (second hand) one is more appropriate.

Well, "new" cable arrived today, installed, cleared code, airbag/restraint light gone!
