S54 large sump plug, no not the oil drain plug.

I was cleaning up my toolbox today and ran across my "tool." I know not everyone has a ton of hardware accessible but something to think about if you do.

This is a steering wheel bolt with a nut as a spacer and a 22mm outside dimension nut. You turn the 16mm bolt head which turns the 22mm nut essentially making it an allen socket.

I'm going to try this again as it looks like it is a slight weep in my case. What are you turning with? I just used a standard 1/2" ratchet with my 22 MM hex socket (zero movement with a decent amount of force), but thinking I'll try a breaker bar this time. I just don't want to make it worse and break something.

16mm wrench, I have a long(er) double box end 16/18 and it takes a bit of force to get it moving, but once it does no issue. You could try some heat if you were inclined, but I always do this with a full oil pan and I haven't had an issue yet (yet, lol).

George Hill breaker bar worked. Felt it go about 1/16 or less of a turn based on the marks I made. How much are you generally tightening?
