Rogan's just doing a bad imitation of what Howard Stern used to be, and without any of the common sense.

You may not like him, but you got to respect him. He's playing the game and making tons of money from it. Not many are willing or able to do this. Even if you disagree with his point of view on many topics. He's a hustler.

Common sense? Didn’t Stern freak out about COVID like a little baby?

Yeah, it makes no sense to have been afraid of COVID when you're an old ass man who can go hide in a $50 million dollar mansion with your model wife.

What Stern does personally is his business, he's not telling his fans to do stupid things like deny science as Rogan does.

This thread is going down the gutter. Back to the main point, I still think it's cool for Joe to praise the e46.

            "Deny science"

Imagine denying that blood letting will excercize disease in 1500s.

You'd be lampooned much worse than being called "conspiracy theorist" today

Whenever you're enjoying sweet thoughts of your beloved science, just remember, a few hundred years from now, those educated and scientific minds will look back upon us and laugh.

"They thought an mRNA theraputic would prevent viral infection?" Bwahahaha what idiots!

This thread is a reminder - on multiple levels - that a person's intelligence in any single subject area is a poor metric for the astuteness of their opinions on any other subject.

Oof youre so close to getting it kinda hurts. Science is verifiable, repeatable, and REFUTABLE. There is no such thing as a “fact” in science unlike whatever other framework you are substituting in its place.

On the contrary, there are plenty of people who have made lots of money in stupid or terrible ways who do not deserve respect.

Imagine hearing uneducated people act like experts in areas that require several years of education just to gain a basic level of understanding. Y’all don’t know shit 😂

I listened to the podcast because I simply enjoy Chris Harris and had to sit through countless less than brilliant takes from Rogan. Just off the top of my head, he claimed that the earth is greener now than it was 100 years ago, that the new Texas republic did not want to join the US, and insinuated that the water powered car was feasible but the inventor was assassinated (by big oil)- this one is good because you can see the cognitive dissonance in his face as he continues reading articles for nearly 10 minutes live that clearly contradict his belief. He just says crap off the cuff and unfortunately, people without reasoning skills see him as a legitimate source of information rather than a comedian. Well, actually, I don't know about the comedian part either.

Bret Weinstein would drive an e46 M3.
