Oil Cooler Options

I just checked and the part number for the oil cooler is technically not NLA but it is backordered with no ETA. It’s possible another run will be made if there’s enough demand.

Well even if BMW stopped stocking them you’d hope MODINE (manufacturer) would keep making some for their product line. Even if made in another plant.

At this point it looks like Litchfield UK has the best solution for a “stock” replacement. Identical dimensions and design for drop-in fit to stock shroud/bracket and line port. Better made with (an advertised) 10% drop in temps and on top of all that it’s overall shipped cost is over $325 Less than BMW’s last pricing.

I wish the z4m shared cooler, mine is fine but is worrying to see so many parts starting to go NLA, more so in the Z
