Windshield wiper refills?

Had anyone figured out where we can get windshield wiper refills for the original wiper arms for our cars? I bought a set of Bosch refills from somewhere that ended up being of the incorrect connection mechanism to the wiper blade.

I'd prefer not to buy all new wiper arms as I prefer the look of the originals. Am I being dumb trying to die on that hill?

I've literally not had funtioning wipers in my car in the 7 years i've owned it (in LA, but yes it is still dumb), and would really like to change that.

Also is it correct for me to assume same parts for coupe and cabrio?

My car had the Original Wiper Blade on it, or someone had put on a new BMW one on at some point, had the wind deflector, BMW roundel and all that BS.

I saw the new ones from the dealer did not have the deflector or at least the pics I saw online. I got these and they had the deflector they aren't the exact same as the originals but my car is a POS anyways and I need wipers to get to work. I highly doubt at any point anyone will go up to your car and say THOSE ARENT THE CORRECT WIPERS unless you're in a concours.

I just refilled mine with silicone blades and haven't looked back

Those are for E36 M3....not E46.

I can confirm that I ordered these and they did not work

They can be trimmed to length but the first issue is they're gray. Not black but okay even if you want to try to use them. They are not provisioned with the little slots on the end for the windshield. Wiper bracket to grab onto the factory blade has like these little dimples that you have to push into the fingers of the wiper blade arm to lock it in place and these don't have that so they just slide in and out and you end up having to do something weird where you crimp the little fingers on the blade arm rendering it damaged.



So I'm on the hunt. Still looking for wiper blade refills for the factory arms

There has to be an option out there. I refuse to get those ugly wiper arm replacements that don't have the little air spoiler on it.

I’m having a hard time visualizing what you mean but here they are installed perfectly fine. I shouldve documented it since i did struggle a bit on the first one- but once you figure it out its easily repeatable. You dont have to jerry rig anything, they fit perfectly without modifying or damaging the hardware.

EDIT: Nevermind, i have the flat ones linked above by ugaexploder. Im guessing its different for the conventional ones. Curious, why stick with those? I understand flat blades are better and also i think they look less bulky

The original Bosch wipers had the cool wind deflector, but those are now NLA? I bought some for my M3 in 2021, but FCP euro does not carry them anymore.
