S54 ITB Rebuild and calibration using INPA

I just watched this excellent video on S54 ITB rebuild and calibration.

This is my attempt at a full comprehensive S54 ITB rebuild video. There’s a lot that goes into these lil guys, and a bunch of info that people leave out or d...

At one point the use of INPA is mentioned to open the ITB's to measure the distance between the top of the ITB opening and the butterfly.

Has anyone seen an option in INPA to open the ITB butterflies?

I think you don't need to do the calibration as long as you don't mess with the stopper on the on body. I disassembled my ITBs to the part where the butterflies are removed to clean them. I lubricated each assembly with bike chain oil - a parafin based oil?

I agree. I would like to find that option in INPA though.

I don't see it in my version of INPA. Might be something in Tool32?

I 'll try and take a look in my Autel MX808 and see if it has that procedure.

Please let me know if it does.

I think DIS had a throttle syncronisation option although i have never used it.

I don't remember seeing this in INPA. Maybe DIS can do it.

Either way, you can always just open them by hand or by having a helper press down on the throttle pedal.

If using the 'helper on the throttle pedal' do you have to have the ignition in position 2 ?

It turns out they meant DIS not INPA.
