Hey gents. What is everyone seeing as far as reliability goes. I have 2k miles on my set which i purchased from Andrew at Lang, roughly 3 years ago. I was tearing down the front suspension to check for a noise I was getting on sharp bumps. Looks like at least one of the front shocks is leaking. These were mounted without the 3ds spacers using turner mounts. These have to go out for a teardown and rebuild to 3ds. For those of you that used the tms mounts. Which spacers were used to mount them to the strut? Thanks on advance.

They are leaking from the shaft seal. There must be another seal under the shaft wiper. I purchased these in Dec of 2022 and installed in March of last year. Lately the front felt also very loose despite everything being brand new. For clarity, this is a 330 zhp with a full m3 swap including all suspension bits. I plan to contact ohlins today. However, my understanding is that they got hit hard by Helene and they may be closed still so I might be SOL. One thing is for sure. Anything made during the covid period is not up to the usual standards and the ohlins pedigree may or may not carry the same weight it once did.

A damper is a complex product with manufacturing tolerances. Customers don't like that part, but shit happens.

Yeah but ohlins support all the way out here is going to be a nightmare where as I can call my supplier and get a new set of gelatin’s shocks shipped to me in warranty and be here in 4 working days. The convenience for that and KWs as well in my case just wins.

Ohlins recently sold to Brembo FYI, so support would potentially become better. For me, dealing with the guys in NC was a breeze and they were very helpful.
