Accelerator/Gas pedals NLA?!

When opening the pedal box to remove the kick down switch, use the right security torx and take your time, mine felt like loctite was applied.

The white plastic holder should be replaced as well if you're removing the pedal, I read some horror story somewhere on these boards and it was enough to make me buy a new one. Pic below, if you do it right you won't break it upon removal.

When you're done, celebrate this little bastard being removed.

So help me out here please if you could--adapter plate 35426772703 is separate from both 282 and 281 pedal assemblies (?), and must be replaced if replacing the pedal? Or is 703 included with a complete 282 or 281 pedal assembly?

Yeah, one time I was going into a slow right hander on track. Then I step on the gas pedal and its not there! lol

Almost blew my knee out. I was able to use my left foot to press the gas pedal to get to the hot pit.

No problem, just remember, the pedal is the same for the E46 E39 E38 E52 E53, so there are A LOT of them out there
