CSL trunk install DIY?

So I've got an OE CSL trunk on order as well as all the neccessary bits, or so I think. Is there any go to DIY you guys can link me to? Also, will the trunk handle simply swap over? I have yet to see a new/different trunk handle mentioned on any of the CSL trunk parts lists that I have come across thus far. My car was manufactured 06/2004, thanks for any help!

The OE CSL bootlid does not utilize the trunk handle.

it's only 3 wires. how much more detail does it need

The oem connector which goes to the trunk release and license plate lights has the following 3 wire colors brown, grey/brown stripe and grey/yellow stripe). Splice in the brown and grey/brown for each of the new registration plate light: 63 26 7 165 646. The grey/yellow wire is for oem trunk release which will no longer be used.
