    Who’s Shipped a Car Before?

I’m looking to ship my car, and just curious who
has experience with this? The only thing I’m familiar with is ensuring that their pick up times are guaranteed and not projections.

    Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays

There was recently a thread about this but I’m sure others will chime in here as well.

I'm potentially shipping an E92 from Seattle to Central PA. Anyone have any experience with good transport companies? recommendation? estimates on price? Never done this before so I'm kinda flying blind, just looking for a little guidance from people who have gone through it. As always, I appreciate the help!

In the past 3 years I’ve shipped an X7 from MD to CA, and my M3 from TX to CA. Both times I used Fisher Shipping. I know that there are other good companies but if I had to do it again I wouldn’t hesitate to use Fisher again. If you have any specific questions you can shoot me a private message.

Pick-up and drop off times aren't exact. You'll probably get closer to those times with a company that moves your car on a single truck from start to destination - but those are the statistical minority. The vast majority of companies use the lottery system where truckers bid on segments and the low bidder gets it. So your car can/will be loaded, unloaded and loaded again several times. Folks go for low price and the lottery system is how you get that. You car may sit for a bit waiting for the next segment carrier to pick it up.

Enthusiast Auto Group had a shipper pick up my car (trade) recently. Transporter guy was thorough and as others have chimed in, time windows are approximates, but my experience is within the day.

I’m paying $2,200 to have my E46 shipped to me from OH to SoCal.

        Good luck!

New York to LA was $1600 open shared transport back in 2018. Curious how much more it would be now. Honestly my experience was good with the actual transportation.

TN-LA is between $1-1.3K open, and $1.5-19K enclosed.

its been a while but i used montway as a broker service to ship an f82 comp some years back. LA to ATL in enclosed transport cost me 1500 then.

Maine to Austin was ~$1500 iirc in March of 2022. Took about a week, went smoothly other than car being completely filthy when arrived lol. The driver was a car guy though and took good care of M3
