Installing Vorsteiner CSL parts in 2024

I'm having Enthusiast Auto Group install Vorsteiner's recent run of 103 production units of their CSL front bumper, trunk lid and diffuser on my yet to be picked up 2005 E46 M3. I've been doing some reading about aluminum v kevlar carriers, license plate kits, etc and quickly realizing there are esoteric details to this game that EAG may not be familiar with just like yours truly.

For those who've installed Vorsteiner's relaunched CSL parts, I'd appreciate any know-how that I can share with EAG to do the job right (i.e. what bits and bobs I need to buy). I really respect all the E46 M3 know-how here and while I tried to find a thread about this very topic, I came up short.

I'm excited to be back on the E46 M3 saddle and hope to share pics and my story soon. I've got KW V3s, 19" BBS LMs, Eisenmann 76mm exhaust and RE SSK on EAG's build list before transport to LA. It's truly a time capsule vehicle I'm putting together as a boomerang E46 M3 owner.

    Muchas gracias!

If EAG doesn't know, not sure why they demand the premium they seem to. I wouldn't tell them how to do their job.

Fatty has a point it’s pretty much what they’re known for, I would ask them these questions and if they give you a “I don’t know” answer then I would not encourage them to learn on your car.

Why are we still supporting EAG in 2024? What exactly are you paying them a premium for, if not knowledge on this exact type of thing?

Not sure why you would get vorsteiner parts in 2024. Other brand are so much better, even oem.. vorsteiner are known for bad fitment

TBF, depending on how long OP's been outta the game, Vorsteiner was one of the better aftermarket companies for the platform back then. If I didn't know any better or about Karb/Slon/Miles End(GT4) coming to the market, I would've been seeking either OE or Vorsteiner. Hell, if Vors didn't do a relaunch, I'd probably try to settle with SG.

But yea, if EAG doesn't know what to do, I'd probably question their entire business and take my money elsewhere.

It's my first time doing biz with EAG. If anyone has any experience installing Vorsteiner's 103 run CSL parts, I'm all ears.

We'll see how things go. Thanks!

Vorsteiners front bumper and diffuser were always great fitment for me. Those are the only parts left on my car from them and I dont plan to change them any time soon.

You live in LA. Have Vorsteiner install it for you in Huntington Beach.

Also I wouldn't trust a thing from Ohio even EAG.
