Installed euro exhaust manifolds on my S54 wagon

Installed a set of Euro catless headers on the M3 wagon.

Made a video about the progress. Cold start and driving video clips towards the end but if people aren't into the YouTube thing then here's a small short clip from that end of that video from Instagram

    Euro catless headers
    Dual resonated section 1
Stock section 2 and CSL section 3

Rasp as expected but I kinda like it. Looking forward to getting a 2nd wireless mic to put in the engine bay to get external audio of the exhaust and CSL intake simultaneously for a more authentic in cabin sound experience

In this video we will be going over the install of my newly acquired Euro CSL catless headers. these are RHD variants from the UK and were coated with Cerako...

Really enjoyed this video - great work. Car sounds amazing - OEM+. Also kudos to the section 3 tips choice - they fill out the rear diffuser nicely!

Euro cats really are the Goldilocks mod for the sec1. Flows well, controls emissions, muffles rasp but still maintains the natural metallic sounds of the s54

I don't get it, why wasn't these euro header or catless headers installed during the s54 swap? Seems to be the go to move, especially if the engine is out.

In the video, I know it's pretty audible. It definitely has rasp but I don't feel like the rasp is the nasty rasp. I feel like it leans more towards the metallic rasp. At this point besides the stinkiness of no cats lol I don't really see a need to get the the expensive European section one with the cats. Or maybe I can try to listen to some videos of other cars that have them and see how they sound compared to mine

            Couple reasons

One I didn't plan on upgrading because this was going to be a daily driver vehicle and I felt like if I wanted to go fast and have fun I would just drive my turbo red s54 sedan

Secondly, I didn't have access to the European headers or new anybody that had them

And then later on after I finished the car and drove on it for almost a year. The set popped up was a good deal and I decided it was worth getting.

Very nice. The day i do my Catted Section solution i'll remove the headers and have them ceramic coated and the cats too like i did on my X5M.

I get it. I thought that euro headers and euro section 1's are pretty abundant worldwide, just sucks your having to go thru the install process all over again.

Going with the proven euro headers and even a euro section 1 is definitely worth it, even for a daily driver.
