    ZCP/CSL Front wheels NLA

I saw there were some old threads on this and thought I would create a new discussion as I now see the front NLA.

Soo for those of us that are thinking about running ZCP/CSL wheels are we all pretty much screwed here?

    Options I see:
-Wait to see if they do a production run. Thoughts on likelyhood of this?
-Run squared rears. Not a terrible option but more weight up front and in the rear will need spacers to look balanced.
    -Reps..bleh. Perhaps there's some actual quality 1:1 copies I don't know about?

If you want to run ZCPs (8 inches), there are PLENTY new and uses.

If you want to run genuin CSLs (8.5 inches), then youre gonna gonna have to get lucky and find fronts uses. I typically see used CSL front put up about once a year.

Sorry for the laziness but can you point to some(new)? I see these are NLA from the typical sources: https://www.turnermotorsport.com/p-2...9-36112282895/

Oh. Is this a certain now banned "curator" of super top notch chinese parts. 😆

As I said in the other thread, they discontinued the 895 part number in the system.

The last wheels were all made in 2013, which is over 11 years ago at this point. BBS has gone bankrupt (twice?) since then, I’d be surprised if the designs, molds, and tooling are still there.

Even if they were, BMW was selling these wheels at a pretty low price, which is possible if you are just selling off old stock, but not when you have to fund a new batch against 2024 production prices.

Therefore I am quite confident that we will never see these again, and it is up to the aftermarket at this point.

That was my fear. Thanks for the clarification.

So for the rears, as far as you know this is the same situation(selling remaining stock)?

Yes, I don’t know why there were more rears, I think initially there might not have been and front wheels just got ordered more, because they get damaged more often in use, who knows.

BMW Germany has a little over 600 rears left at the moment.

Oh well will stick to my LMs and CHs. Probably do a build on the LMs for a little wider fitment
