How about the Motul 75/80 GL4?Originally posted by chris719 View Post
I tried the Motul High Torque DCTF in my M2 Competition 6MT and it made the warm shifts a little nicer, but the cold shifts were worse. The viscosity is close enough but it’s a lower V.I. fluid so it’s going to be thicker at really low temps.Old, not obsolete.

It's thicker than OE fluid. The viscosity is very close to Redline MTL but it has worse specs otherwise than MTL all around. It's primarily Group III base stock. It'll probably work, but I would not use it. I would prefer Pentosin FFL4, Redline DCTF, Ravenol MTF-2, Redline MTL/MT-LV combo, or Motul DCTF.Originally posted by D-O View Post

Note that my complaints about the Motul High Torque DCTF were coming from MTF-LT-5 which is a thinner fluid than MTF-LT-2.
