Has anyone looked into or ran a diff lift kit on our cars? Noticed my right axle cv boot has a tear and while under there I noticed my axles are pretty angled upward towards the wheels, even though I’m not running a crazy low ride height (~12.75”). I had only seen these kits for the F8x platform, commonly installed for track oriented cars, especially those Nurburgring track tools overseas running really low ride heights (but also having kinetics/roll center correction as well I’m sure). Now looks like Team Schirmer made diff lift bushings kit for the E46 platform, and since I’m going to be in there for the axle boot repair I’m interested in trying this kit, but there’s 0 mention of it installed on anyones E46 anywhere online to get any feedback if worth it or not. And in typical TS fashion theres very little detailed info and vague description, doesn’t even say by how much it raises the diff lol. Price seems reasonable at least, though with any subframe/diff job the big cost is always labor..

The text says not for e36 or e46. You are looking for this https://www.mk-motorsportteile.de/p/...r-e36-e46-wtcc2003 AW/BLK 6MT - Instagram

And what you posted is a roll center correction kit, that’s not the same as the diff lift kit. What I’m refering to is a kit to lift the differential’s mounting so that the driveshaft axles are not so angled with the lowered ride height and are more horizontally straight like factory.
Here is their F8x version to give better idea, grabted on that platform is more involved with a brace that gets installed with it, but the page has better info.

Switch the site to German language and you see this:
Achtung: Bei den Modellen E36 und E46 handelt es sich um zentrische Lager. Somit erfolgt hier keine Erhöhung des Differentials.
And yes it's just a roll center kit but you install this with their subframe bushing kit which sets the subframe higher and so the drive shaft angle. Combined you get the best possible angles as possible. But please correct me if I'm wrong.

Raise the whole subframe-- corrects all the geometry, doesn't have the horrible NHV trade off of aftermarket subframe bushings.
And, raise your car :P
edit: should have read the whole thread before replying. Stilt just said the same thing :P

Dang, I had a feeling it was too good to be true with that low price and from the stock photos looking like usual upgraded centric diff bushings. Thanks Zekarus and PurelliCondoms for looking further into it, I would’ve been really disappointed if i bought them and realized once my diff was out that it wasn’t a true diff lift kit 😂
At least I have no problem with my current AKG diff bushings, and I’ve been running the Turner solid AL subframe bushings for well over 7 years now with no issues! They were all installed during subframe reinforcement job. But i dont think the Turner sub bushings had any spacers, I guess since they're an older design from like a decade ago and that wasnt common feature on solid sub bushings back then? Here’s hoping theyre already at the lowest non-spacer level lol.
