Upgraded injectors question

Hey Guys,

So I've been searching the forums and it seems to come down to the Bosh EV14 and the Porsche TT, for a FBO NA build (NO PORTED HEAD).

For reference:

CSL ECU
288/280 cams
Karbonius CF airbox
SS V1
SS HFC Sec 1
SS Sec 2 unresonated 2.5 inch
Scorza exhaust
Turner bullies
Efan


I'm looking for something that still fits with the oem fuel rail. Are these the best options and which one?

EthanolTurbo duracellttu have both gone with those and have documented their route at length. I have the same injectors and radium rail and will also follow suit and drop my findings as well.

I installed those Bosch EV14 injectors on a recently rebuilt S54, I probably wouldn't do them again. Too much headaches/costs with needing to buy a fuel rail, plumbing kit, spacers, and tuning them accordingly.

Not typically. New lines would be required if you wanted to move to an aftermarket rail, there are lots of ways to do it but 6an lines / fittings would be suitable for an NA car.

Definitely contact your tuner and ask them about injector sizing based on target power level and brand of injector. With our standalone we needed to have injector deadtime data from the manufacturer to get them working properly.

Short answer is no, it's not required but makes the install easier. If you choose to keep the stock fuel rail you will need to modify the mounting holes and raise the hardline fuel source line from the filter/FPR.

I didn't want to irreversibly modify the stock fuel rail.
