Hotchkis vs turner sway bar

Hello! I have been searching for a sway bar.
not for track use, just street.
Im between Hotchkis and Turner.
Turner are 10 pounds heavier than Hotckis since it’s a solid metal. That wouldn’t be a problem. I’m not tracking the car.
You go online all you see is videos of the Hotchkis, not the Turner.
There’s only one place available for Hotchkis to buy it now, almost double of the price. Everywhere else is back ordered.
turner I can have it in two weeks.
The question is…. How good is Turner compared to Hotchkis?
is it worth to pay almost double for it?
is Turner a good choice?

Why do you need a bigger bar? What suspension do you currently have?

BC Racing coilovers. I’m trying to figure out what’s is going on… It loses stability when I’m on highway, happened a few times when I’m changing lanes or getting off an exit…
If changing the sway bars doesn’t help I will get a better coilovers. Already tried an alignment, and it didn’t help. I Tried my winter wheels with brand new tires, and still the same. Maybe the sway bar will fix it. Already took to a mechanic and nothing is broken or loose.

That is pretty much the answer I gave you. Both are 30mm with 3 adjustment points. They will perform similar and you won't be able to notice the difference, especially on BC...

Describe "loses stability" in more detail. You sure you aren't experiencing tramlining?

I know they are very similar like you said besides one is solid and the other one is hollow, that’s why thought the turner will make the car Handle better.

Drove few M3s with BC and let just say it's not a quality coilovers.

Also BC front struts are 2 parts and they sometimes get loose. Check with spanner wrench if the collar ring near swaybar links are tight.

Sounds like suspension or alignment problem
maybe see if someone locally who is good at car setup can help you sort it
can almost guarantee a sway bar won’t fix it

picking the right sway depends on your current suspension rates and what steady state balance and f/r roll couple you are trying to achieve. The FCM calculator is helpful for this. I can tell you that with the turner front bar full soft and 400/650 rates the car has a slight understeer balance at steady state, and a softer Hotchkis bar would shift that balance rearward. I am struggling to figure out what you’re trying to achieve or exactly what the problem is that you are having

if yoi have problem w lane changing is it because the rear feels like it’s wandering? Or does it get unsettled over bumps? What speed? This does not seem like a steady state issue that a sway bar would address. I’d suggest starting with your suspension and your RTABs with a mechanic who knows what they’re doing. They’re hard to come by these days.

What happens is if I’m driving around 70mph + and I want to change lanes for an example looks like I’m going to loose control of it. If between lines is uneven. Same thing happens near my house when I’m getting out of my exit. If I’m going fast, as soon as I get on the highway It happens again. So it’s pretty much any uneven paviment. I had many cars before, and never this situation. It’s scary. it’s hard to explain. I did an alignment didn’t work. Tires are around 5000 miles on my summer wheels. I just changed it to my winter wheels with brand new tires, took for a ride and it did the same thing. So I thought this would be a
body roll situation and I know sway bars can help with that. Doesn’t have anything to do with under steering or over steering because I’m driving straight, Barely turning.

What arms and bushings have been replaced? Total mileage on chassis? Also curious about ride height.

Have you put it up in the air and checked each wheel for play?

Here is a couple pictures with the summer and winter wheels so you have a better Idea. I do t have the alignment spec. It was done beginning of last year since then I only drove 500 miles this summer
