Maybe someone can point me in the right direction here but I'm having an issue with my driver side door.

    - I can lock (but not unlock) the drivers side door using the key
    - I can lock AND unlock the passenger door using the key
    - Center console button does not lock or unlock either door
    - Using the physical key in the drivers side door can unlock and lock

Is this a GM5 issue or something else?

1 - it's highly likely the GM5 relay for the door unlock has a pitted dirty contacts. Cut the plastic open and clean the contact with a sharp blade.
2 - this proves the key fob buttons are working
      3 - it's a bad swithc or wiring from sw to GM5
4 - It means the mechanicsm inside the door are good, but keep using the key in this way will one day break the parts, and will be locked out.

Thanks for the insight and I'll see if I can tackle cleaning the contacts. I'm going to check the center console switch again as well

You should use Inpa to read the switch status inside the GM5 module, and the status bits (close, open, etc) should be changing when the switches are activate. It's a quicker way than checking the wires and mechanic contacts of switches.

Unfortunately don't have INPA or know someone that does.
