Also, I've been told that the wheels linked below are the ML-10s without the Apex branding.

Can you set me up with your MM account manager? I'm clearly in need of better advice

Are you pretty locked in with front width and offset sizing for 18s? I'd love to know a no rub at lowered height spec including tires to run 18s up front.

In 19" land, I know these specs work well for many.

      19x8.5 ET 32 - 245/35/19 PS4S

What's the equivalent in 18" land?

The 21A's are 9.5 and 10.5 et22, so not really close

My front set up is very track-focused and wouldn't work for most people. That set is 10.5 +22 with a 265/35, and I plan on running a 275/35 next. You have to run -3.5*+ up front to make it work. The 9.5 will be similar but will give you a little more wiggle room. You just still will have to run sufficient negative camber. A 9.5 +20 or higher with a 265/35 and -3* camber at a decent ride height should be ok.

It depends on how much camber you want to run really, it's hard to see from those angles but I think Jim's car has 10.5" square with lots of camber (and maybe rolled/trimmed rear arches) to make it fit.

Apex has a pretty thorough fitment guide on their site: https://apexwheels.com/fitment-guide...BoCUdwQAvD_BwE

edit: beat me to the punch

The only people who lump them together are the ignorant and the mainland Chinese government.

Any opinions on these specs? Mine is just a cars and coffee plus occasional Angeles Crest car. I shaved 1mm front and rear from the BBS LM spec which don’t rub at all, but have a little more room based on my assessment. Many thanks.

You aren't going to have an issue with those specs. I run a 19x9 et28 with zero rub and only 2 degrees camber up front. So you could easily go to et25 up front with an 8.5

There is a front spring perch clearance issue with KW coilovers. You are limited on how close the wheel can be to the coilover. I would have said that a 19x9 ET38 would have been a better choice for a 245.

IMO, I'd probably go for a 235/265 setup for an 8.5/10. Tires run pretty wide these days, especially PS4s and ECS2s.

That's right, I forgot he went KW (I used to run them and still do on another one of my cars). I running GC without issue on Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 4 245/35/19

Sounds like I should be fine since I'm dialed in right now with the 19x8.5 ET25 LMs. ET24 with the Fikse wheels move the wheel outboard.

I want as wide a tire as possible within reason so will stick with the 245/275 PS4Ss.

                        Thanks for the responses.

To clarify, I say "China/Taiwan" because I'm not 100% sure where these specific items are manufactured. It's one of the two but I don't want to misquote.

I am not generalizing that China and Taiwan are the same because, of course they are not. I don't appreciate the implication of your comment.

I will again just reiterate that Japan has higher standards and practices than either mainland China or Taiwan. Therefore I would trust and prefer products from Japan, that's the whole point I'm trying to make.

Japan used to be seen as horrible quality as well. Things can and will change eventually.
