Saw kaiv printed a sold a few of these in an instagram post a while back. Tagging him to the post in case he's got some extras for sale.

Found Kaiv’s post on his IG and recorded the clip to save you all a few clicks. This is what it looks like IRL + installed on the car.

Thanks. Looks very functional. I will check if I still have Kaiv’s number. Been a long time since he use to cruise by and do my valve adjustments in his early years.

Hey guys. Yes I do have a few more in stock ready to go. FYI these are designed and manufactured by Bryson but sold through me as he wishes not to deal with that aspect. They are ~220 or so including shipping and a chunk of the proceeds go back to him making more cool parts for our cars. I also have another video showing more details/install I can share although it should be pretty self explanatory for most. LMK if I can help!

If my IAT is in the brake duct, will this mess with anything? Really want this.

I also have my IAT sensor (US style) installed at the top of this duct, where the collar flares out.

Have you done any kind of measurements or seat of the pants feel for it? I currently have Eventuri intake with the elephant trunk plugged into the brake duct hole. I was thinking of attaching the scoop to it as well. At this point though the intake sounds really good, I am wondering what would be the difference if I add the scoop into the mix the way you have it in the picture.

Siam: If you want to keep it there I don't see why you couldn't put it on the replacement duct

I've only ever heard the intake with the scoop so can't speak to how it sounds without it. OP mentioned a noticeable sound and seat dyno improvement after implementing the scoop. I am running Brysons mullet tune and the car runs incredibly well - very happy with all aspects of the CSL airbox mod. From my perspective, the scoop is a nice value add to ensure the airbox is getting fresh air. The overall sentiment of this thread is to install one (either the eventuri or Bryson's custom 3d printed unit Kaiv sells).

I have a “different” setup than most here—Evolve box. But for me, the scoop really was a surprising improvement. Silly, I know.

Unpopular opinion: keep the Eventuri. I really enjoyed mine. A strong argument can be made for stopping at the Eventuri, especially in CA. Lots of smiles/dollar; minimal headaches.

Probably a dumb question. Should the car come with "elephant trunk" duct where you insert and install the eventuri scoop? When i installed mine there was nothing there, just a hole.
I looked at Real OEM and i see something that looks like a duct, but its labeled as alternator duct #20

yes on the M3s it has a “snorkel” to the duct. list as that part in (RealOEM). stock M3 airbox has another inlet at bottom. from your sig photo if you have a non-M you don’t have that on the Mtech 2 ducts. Although some E46 non-Ms do have an alternator duct for cooling.

I've had the Eventuri with the scoop since almost day 1 on my 2004, but that got destroyed last year. I just installed it on the 2006 I picked up. I have the elephant trunk plugged in the duct as somehow the duct opening is bigger than the scoop collar. So for now I left it alone, although I am thinking about attaching the scoop to the elephant trunk. For some reason the noise feels louder on the 2006 then 2004, could be placebo. My daughter and her friends love it especially under overpasses 😂
