Two major red flags. If there's a date you NEED it by, a professional that is skilled at their craft will generally understand what's involved so they'll know how long it takes. The services that involve a special skill consistently meets deadlines or at least they are honest and tell you that they can't or likely won't meet a date up front.

There are options for covers from places like GAHH. One of the best upholstery guys in the Cincinnati area uses their kits on newer euro cars (mostly P-cars) and says they are high quality and fit well. I viewed a set of 90's 964 - 911 seats he was working on and the covers looked great...of course it helps to have a pro install for the best results.

Anyone tried ridies.com? Shows they offer nappa. Might be worth getting some color samples... I have no experience with them personally.

We used Ridies for the seats in my stepdads AW11 MR2. He opted for Napa leather, which seemed/felt nice. I did the install, which was my first time doing anything like that, so I'm sure they would've turned out better if installed by a pro. I have no other experience with them outside of this and can't speak as to how they would turn out in an e46 or how close of a match the color/material would be.Originally posted by SE46 View PostAnyone tried ridies.com?
