I have a new one ready to go, but given the price of these things nowadays, are they "cleanable"? If so, what is the proper method? Maybe I clean my old one up and shelve it.

Nice setup! Did you tap the valve cover for an AN fitting?

I had the valve cover milled and welded to fit the Bosch coils. They are the Audi R8 coils. They come on a bunch of different VW cars. I went with those because they have the igniter built into the coil.

I think my blocked vent valve, was causing an oil leak from the timing chain tensioner and oil fill cap. Probably elsewhere too!

I replaced mine just a few weeks ago when I did my VCG, but I had bought the thing years ago when they were cheaper.
