    Usually cavitation is what destroys centrifugal pumps in industrial uses. Rarely does an impeller or end plate go bad. The shaft seal is what normally goes first.

      Just throwing in my experience too. Bought a Saleri one off of FCP and the pulley cant seat on the water pump correctly. Either the impeller part isn't protruding out enough or the casting is too thick but when i rotate the pulley around I see scoring on the inside.

              Why are you looking at non stock water pumps? AFAIK they haven't moved S54 pumps to china, yet...
