New SunBeam section 3 in development (pics & sound samples in the links)

I know a lot of people are fans of their equal length section 1... well they're now developing a new section 3 (not yet for sale). Saw these sound samples on IG, I think it sounds pretty good:

So that looks like just straight piping with no muffler? Did they ever say if they are going to produce a catted equal length section 1?

The clips sound nice but i'm wondering how loud that set up is. A decibel reading would be nice.

From that picture and angle, maybe. From the other pics it seems to be just 3 inch piping to a collector. Maybe there are different generations of the design in different pictures. I am definitely intrigued.

I think the 3rd section of the exhaust can be anything to pass smog, only section that matters is section 1 where the factory cats are, probably wont pass decibel, not sure if that is part of the smog check?

So, I thought of this, but they already offer their section 1 without resonators. You could weld cats on, but then you'd have no resonators. So I imagine you'd be back at square one unless that bend is really doing something(i'm sure it's the resonators).

Would the cats lessen the rasp or dull out the tone?

The tone is pretty good and quality looks nice but y'all are tripping if you think that isn't ear splittingly loud in person. That section 3 is literally a straight pipe. Take off your OE section 3 and drive around if you want to get an idea of the volume of that bad boy.

They massively lessen the chain saw rasp, which I can't stand. The car sounds cheap. Resantors do help, as well, but I can't drive a catless street car.
