The RLS is the only code on my car, because the prism in my glass is all jacked up. Drives me nuts, even though this car doesn't see rain, hah. Where can you get just the prism? Got a link / part number? Thanks.
I don't think BMW sells the part, but there's aftermarket alternatives available. Search for "E46 K206 rain lens" on eBay.
You can always get a non rain sensor windshield and glue the prism on.
Ordered a non rain sensor IR windshield a couple days ago and just got refunded for my order . Reasoning was something about it being to fragile to ship. I knew $600 shipped to my door was too good to be true.
This was definitely to good to be true as well, $320 shipped, shouldn't have wasted my time.

Just placed an order for a rain sensing/green strip windshield supposedly "in stock", somehow I doubt it.
I have ordered from this place before and they listed items in stock and sat on my money for weeks until I contacted them only to find they didn't have the item.
Hopefully worst case I can find a good used windshield as I really need one and have put it off.

I just ordered one. Now on backorder with no ETA. And yes, the price was comparatively low.
Climate comfort glass, which my car did not come with, is also BO without an ETA. The windshield for vehicles without a rain sensor is readily available.
Yep - windshield. Perhaps they just went "on-sale" but I doubt it. I think that means they're clearing out inventory.

For real, I was just as surprised as you concerning the CDs when he asked. I was like, yeah, take them. On an unrelated note, my oldest (23 and wrapped up her masters) is officially and completely off my payroll as of today. I just got a huge raise, more cars to come lol. Not to mention I might actually be able to use various perks and points I accrue.
How about that. My oldest just graduated last month and will be off the payroll at the end of July. Bittersweet.
I am impressed that he even has a CD player. I have two in college, and neither of them would have a way to play a CD. My older son's girlfriend collects vinyl and it was a blast from the past to look through her small collection.

My son came home from college to get my CDs. He has convinced many of his college friends on the greatness of grunge, metal, new wave, industrial, punk, alternative, etc from that era. Great to see. His roommates were with him and they were all asking for more recommendations.
