I never liked 1940s music

My son came home from college to get my CDs. He has convinced many of his college friends on the greatness of grunge, metal, new wave, industrial, punk, alternative, etc from that era. Great to see. His roommates were with him and they were all asking for more recommendations.

You know what is worse? Walking through a shopping center and you hear your genre and/or favorite band. That actually hit me hard lol. I was like, damn, am I that old? Checks bday, yeah I'm that old. A mother blanking shopping center. Jesus wept.

It was hearing it in an elevator that did me in.

HA! I've been hearing 90s/00s music playing as classical versions (muzak) recently at higher end restaurants and hotel lobbies. SUPER weird. Feel pretty old hahah Also, listening to 80s music for my kids now was like me listening to 40s music when I was their age ACK!!!
