You can just use a butt connector.

yeah I know but I’d prefer to find the proper type of connector…just because…my brain needs it….if I don’t find it yeah I’ll use a butt connector and cut of half of it

I think it's a closed end crimp connector.

Based on the connectors that BMW used on the rest of the car, it's probably something like this: https://www.te.com/en/product-8-34318-3.html

Grab some measurements from what you have and try to find something equivalent here: https://www.te.com/en/plp/terminals-...utPL=false&q2=

Check out PosiProducts. They have an innovative design that I’ve used quite a bit; might work for you as well.

IF I have the crimped wires bundle in my hand, I would add solder to the joint. For me, the solder joint is the best connection and skip the crimp part, and it's safer in term of corroded connection and fire hazard.

Crimps are better then solder joints in high vibration environments.

also in differing temperature environments because with time solder cracks

What did you end up getting?

The batt cable terminals have solder joints. They probably won't work today if they were not soldered.

In the old days where surface-mounted chips were not invented yet, the commercial electronics boards have chips mounted on sockets, but aerospace industry and Automotive boards with through-hole chips soldered on board, no sockets allowed. Soldering joints are not that bad in vibration environment.

So in German paralellverbinder or parallel splices in English. Versacrimp is a nice example and of course….te also produces them

Along those same lines did you find a source for the green, yellow and black caps? JakeM346
