    Fuel injector to cylinder fitting

I am trying to fit some replacement OEM injectors to the car. However, the O-ring that seals to the head doesn't seem to fit in the port on the cylinder head.

I've lubricated the lower O-rings prior to the first trial fitting but no joy.

I tried using a pick to ease it in, again no good.

The original injectors that i removed fit fine. They have been refurbed the past and the O-rings appear to be smaller.

Has anyone had this fun before?

I've used a small hose clamp to compress these orings down and then inserted them in. A little annoying of a process but gets the job done

I should have thought of the Beisan method.

      Thank you.

I just gave them a wiggle and in they went. Took some pressure, but nothing alarming.

Did it a couple months ago with new OE O-rings.
