TiAg M3 back from the dead

    Hello everyone !

Didn't see any introduction forum section, so I'll post here
My M3 has been parked for almost 9 years as I started a chassis reinforcement, and then my daughter was born, and then work got in the way, and then my son was born, and then work got even more intense, and the M3 got abandoned in the garage, almost 9 years ago.
Maybe some people from m3forum are still around ? Obioban ?
Anyways, I'm now making time to get that car running again, finishing the chassis reinforcement, etc...
    Pictures maybe later ?

That's it, just wanted to say hi

That used to be my signature it seems :

Welcome back! I remember your car from the old forum. I bought my TiAg back in 2011 so I looked to your build for inspiration.

          Thanks guys !
I'll make a new thread at some point, "Flow's M3 puzzle" where you'll all help me to put it back together. Kind of forgot where it all goes after 9 years haha.
Currently reinforcing the subframe mounting points

Thanks guys ! Indeed long time no see
I'll do a first wash in 8 years picture of the dust on the car haha

Vincebar installed simply by riveting it
I believe that'll be plenty solid enough with the reinforcements below the car + I want to inject the Teroson structural foam into the chassis later in september.
With those 3 things I should be golden.

OE front suspension top hats or Turner street ?
Also, what is the name of that suspension ? I bought it from someone at Eibach 8 years ago, and can't really find any information online about it. The Pro Street S is another system from them, but labeled the same ?

                      Yep

                      Interesting concerning the suspension.
In France, the pro street S doesn't have linear springs etc...
                      It's this kit :

Did you buy them from EIBACH USA or EIBACH Germany/Europe?

I bought it directly from Eibach in the USA, from the guy who actually made that suspension, but I can't find the emails anymore, and m3forum is gone with all the PMs I exchanged

Yup i know who you are talking about, I actually think the US and Euro versions were different. I remember lookin in my dealer portal on Eibach Germany and seeing different springs unless they used a generic pic which they usually never do. I have attached the Picture from the portal from Eibach Germany.

I would install the US Versions since that person went through some good work to test them and develop them. Also I cannot see the Pro Street S on the EIBACH USA website anymore:
Eibach engineers, manufactures, and sells the highest quality performance aftermarket suspension products in the world.

Yes that kit seems to be a legend haha.
It makes me think of our local craigslist, where everyone thinks he has a rare item and asking a premium for it.
I'll be running that suspension as when I bought it, it made quite a good consensus.
I'm no chassis expert, so I am certain I'll be satisfied with it. I absolutely loved my previous KW V2 set to full soft, still kicking myself for selling it, I hope to get about the same with this kit. We'll see.
