    PRSTG Porsche 17Z BBK

Any experience out there with this kit? If they're using Porsche 957 rear calipers I don't think we have that listed in the brake bias chart. $2300 for complete front/rear kit.

Introducing our 17Z/18Z BBK conversion kit, applicable to both E46 and E9X M3 platforms. This big brake kit conversion utilizes the brake components from the Porsche Cayenne (957+) and provides a massive brake upgrade to the lackluster factory brake setup found on E46 and E9X M3s in both performance and aesthetics.  Th

It's a cheap pieced together BBK with Chinese rotors, there are tons of companies selling these kits. Classic case of - you are getting what you pay for.

Personally, I would get a used purpose built BBK ( Brembo GT, AP racing, Stoptech, etc.) that was designed for the e46 m3, not some pieced together kit.

I would beed a lot more information about the rotors. There are guys on here who know way more about this than me, but materials and design are important. It’s possible to get the right kind of stuff made in China in theory. But yea. Either way this is a kit for looks.

They're all just chinese kits, the same shit you can get on alibaba. They just do the marketing.

I had purchased 17Z Cayenne Calipers for this exact same project. I had to get a lot of pictures online to design the bracket and how much shaving and where. After feeling the weight of those 6-pots, the amount of shaving I was going to have to do and custom brackets, I opted for a purpose made E46 Brembo GT BBK.

They look aggressive, but they're just a hard parker kit. You'll throw off balance with the weight of those things.
