Pretty sure the GM5 module in my car is staring to go bad. Any recommendations as to where to pick up a new one and how best to code at home?

The lock/unlock relays are known to fail. Your best bet is to fix the one you have as a used unit could eventually have the same issue.Originally posted by Hammerfang View PostLocks not always locking or unlocking.
This is the most well known service - https://www.bmwgm5.com/GM5_Repair_Service.htm , though some people have had issues getting their GM5s back in a timely manner. You might want to email him before sending it in.
Another option is the buy the relays and take it to a local electronics shop to get them swapped out.
